The role will carry out projects in relation to organizational transformation and ongoing process improvements to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization. Creates and implements change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance.
Our Change & Communications Consultant is accountable for demonstrating the following core competencies:
Strategic Change Leadership
- Develops and implements comprehensive change management strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Applies advanced knowledge of organizational development and transformation strategies to guide complex change initiatives.
- Demonstrates strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate ambiguous or evolving change scenarios.
Impact & Risk Assessment
- Conducts thorough impact assessments to understand the scope and implications of proposed changes.
- Leads cross-functional teams in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with organizational changes.
- Designs and implements change management plans, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies, to ensure smooth transitions and minimize disruption to business operations.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Collaborates with senior leadership to communicate change initiatives effectively and gain stakeholder buy-in.
- Exhibits excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to engage and align diverse groups across the organization.
- Uses strong leadership and influencing skills to drive organizational change initiatives and build support at all levels.
Change Enablement & Training
- Facilitates training and support programs that equip employees with the skills and knowledge needed to adapt to change.
- Develops and maintain change management documentation, including policies, procedures, and best practices, to support consistent adoption.
- Provides expert guidance and mentorship to junior change management professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Performance Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of change management initiatives, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Conducts post-implementation reviews to assess the success of change initiatives and identify areas for future enhancement.
- Manages and resolves conflict constructively, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and organizational resilience.
Methodology & Tools Proficiency
- Shows adaptability and resilience to thrive in dynamic and uncertain environments.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Development, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
- Proven experience leading change management initiatives in the context of mergers/acquisitions, divestitures, cultural or strategic transformation, or ongoing process improvement.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is a plus.
- Strong track record of partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive stakeholder alignment and adoption.
- Demonstrates proficiency in change management methodologies preferably Prosci’s ADKAR.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences and levels of the organization.
Base pay range for this position is $40.00 - 60.00/hr. Final hourly compensation will be based on experience and may vary by geographic location.
