Senior Accountant I, Corporate Accounting

Job Description:

  • Supports operations of the accounting teams
  • Demonstrates effective collaboration across organization
  • Identifies process improvements opportunities
  • Promotes a culture in which processes balance innovation and financial accountability
  • Prepares manual journal entries related to accruals, prepaids, reserves
  • Monitors accounting entries created during the month
  • Analyzes monthly financial results
  • Readily identifies data anomalies and exceptions
  • Participates in timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual close process tasks
  • Supports the annual audit process
  • Collaborates with International teams
  • Supports assurance of accurate data integrity
  • Prepares monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
  • Documents procedures and keeps them up to date
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement in the reconciliation/reporting procedure

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 7+ years of accounting experience, including financial analysis and systems experience
  • Public accounting experience a plus
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
  • Continuous improvement mindset with an interest in process optimization and automation
  • Ability to work effectively across teams and geographies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • CPA preferred
